This week in my Beth Moore Bible Study (James: Mercy
Triumphs), we focused on Chapter 2 which talks about not showing partiality but
fulfilling the royal law according to Scripture “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
AS YOURSELF.” James goes into quite a sermon regarding partiality, preferring one
person over another… My prayer this week, as I meditate on this portion of the
lesson is that my heart is softened that I might look through the eyes of
Christ’s love for the multitude. What a Savior we have! He is a Savior who
cares for each of us so dearly. Oh that we would demonstrate that same care and
compassion as we receive from heaven each and every day! Blessings on you! Wendi
